With the rapid development of building trade in China in recenttens of years, huge amount of complexity public buildings have been putting in operation and keeping in increase in years.
However, due to the “in spite of illness” construction and “inspite of illness” handing over during the building up stage,as well as the severe lack of maintenance and operation human source and the limitation of their working experiences,especially for MEP people, together with the unprofessional retrofitting during later fit out stage, the indoor designed criteria has not been reached, systems have been operating in lower efficiency with higher energy consumption, systems are in higher potential risks, facility depreciation is in fast track,lifecycle of facilities is shorter. The real estate value will be reducing, the customer perception will be going to lower, while the investment return and/or rentals will be going down.

BON has commonly released <recommissioning Handbook for Facility Managers> with BOMA in year 2017, which will be using as the guidelines for MEP system operation & maintenance for in service buildings.
